Reinstalling center console after mylink
I did the retrofit mylink and also have the frameless mirror install from gen5diy... I'm finding it impossible to get the 4 pack gauge trim to lay flush and go back in successfully does anyone else have this issue??

It's been a long while since I did it in both cars but it should go in easily.
Just throwing some things out, are any wires in the way? One thing I had an issue with when I did the first car was being afraid to break stuff and not putting a trim piece in hard enough. Went back and tried again after letting it sit for a while and popped right in. |

Well I definitely wasn't scared to break anything! Freaking frameless mirror harness broke so not sure if I can hard wire that without the harness or not?? Seems like there are too many harness cables for the trim to lay flat..

Take the sides off first. They will pop off easily but run the length of the console past the seats.
Try gently pushing the shifter end in first (has the thinnest plastic so you don't want to break that end) and then the cluster. Check the 2 sets of wires on each side of the top of the tunnel. Check the cig/power/traction connections and the gauges connection to make sure there is clearance. It takes patience but should pop in if everything is lined up properly. The 4 pack guages were changed for my link. You're going to have to shave off the backor buy a 2013 4 pack

Don't have the know how to help you on this one but out of curiosity, how much the retrofit mylink cost you? Did you install it yourself?

I never bothered, I don't miss it at all.
I even bought the door pulls but never bothered putting them in. As far as the gauge pack you have to trim the corners like the others said. It should tell you on the instructions that came with it. |

I got the switch but never installed it. Pull on the inside handle twice to unlock the door. |
