Damm dude I feel for you my car blew up on the dyno 7K miles, Look into anew engine, i thought for sure i was on the hook for over 15K but a new LS3 can be had for about $5500. Get your car fixed back on the road and open a case, because no way in hell a catch can cause this, and if necessary advised the catch can manufacture let them battle it out with GM

JMHO

If the hoses are not installed properly air leakage can cause a lean condition under WOT acceleration if the PCV hoses bypass the MAF. Whether they do or not on this engine, I don't know. To make matters worse, the air leakage and lean condition can usually only be found by a datalogger, under most circumstances, you won't even know that it's sucking in air and not being read by the MAF.

Best of luck, OP. This is the one mod I wanted to do while still under warranty.

Probably depends on what direction/action he is going with this, I hope we hear back in a few days from him that it is being resolved.

This is exactly why I ordered my catch can directly from your site. Great company!

Signed, complete garbage that they denied this claim. The oil pump issue isn't a new thing.

UPDATE-5/9/16 3PM PST.
Hearing nothing from GM so far, I have begun submitting the issue to local network news affiliates. I will put forward the story to several stations and hope for a bite. I have done this in the past and have succeeded in getting three different issues aired on the major network stations in the Seattle area.

I will keep you all posted.
