In any case - thank you for the clarification, you can never be too careful.
No worries, Z28 HLR! We will be looking for your email.

Just a follow up to this, finally! 2.5 weeks at the dealer and they finally diagnosed my fuel pump wasn't holding pressure. Had to open a technical case with GM, and had the shop foreman involved. All good now, and the dealer put only 2 miles on the car and didn't wash it (as I requested). Top notch work, I'm very happy.

The icing on the cake was they did a "multipoint" inspection and noted my tires were "almost out of tread." I've been babying it since I bought it (so they are still brand new), rather the tech hasn't seen Trofeos "roll" through their shop before me. That gave me a chuckle. Now onto the remaining 500 miles of break in!!

Exclamation After 2 LONG years it's fixed!!!

Ive been fighting this for TWO LONG YEARS!! Finally got it fixed. Had something to do with the positive jump post under the hood. Found a thread that some fixed theirs and did it to mine. and yes ive replaced the starter(twice), replaced the battery(x3), wrapped the passenger header near the starter(thinking it was heat soak), and cleaned all the grounds. This was so simple and cheap. Good luck!

I know it's not pretty but did it this morning before work. Gonna clean it up tomorrow.
