Random....

Anyone have one random valve spring from the factory if did there happen to be a precious failure?

my 12 had all blue springs. ya id say it had a failure at some time

Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1

My 11 had all yellow. So I would guess you're has been repaired since they switched to blue.

My '12 had all blue springs from the factory as well.

Ive done a few LS3 head swaps for others and it seems 2011 was a cutoff year some were blue some were yellow.

Ive read the general consensus is they are equally the same but the GM supplier for the springs must be the reason why the color changes. LS6 typically were blue and LS3 were typically yellow but now theyre listed as LS3/6/7/9.

I wouldnt be to worried about it. The blue and yellow are rated the same.
