To be frank, any responsible person would know not to do 100+ on a public road.

Yeah...but do you remember (or have any idea) how it feels to go from a pos to a brand new car? It's a night/day difference. When you're going 100 in the new car, it feels like you're going 55 in the old car. When you're going 55 in the old car, it feels like you're going 100.

I don't believe you, because there are several people here on the forum that say there cars are not fast, and they want to return them.

That's just stupid. People should use it for going fast. ON A TRACK. Two good friends of mine were killed a few years back because some douchebag decided to go 120, lost control and ran head on into their car. There's absolutely no excuse.

I don't give a damn how long you've waited for your car, don't be an ass by risking the safety of others. Take it to the track.

Think the tag said 60. So 40 mph over...... ouch. In MN if you get tagged at a 100mph, you lose your license for a month.

I guess I don't blame the cop for hanging you on this one, thats hauling the mail. It does make for a good story though.

Last time an RCMP pulled me over he asked me " how fast were you going ?"

I said "I have no Idea .

He asked again and I said " I really do not know"

He said " Humour ME "

I said " Honestly I do not know."

He came back after 5 minutes, Said " you seem like an honest fellow with a good record, be on your way and slow down."

I expect I was at least 25 MPH over when I saw his front bumper in the bushes.

I did not attempt to BS him and he appreciated it.

when i had my first car, a ford maverick, i was coming home one night and i passed like 5 cars goin up a hill and i was doin 98, one of the cars was a cop and when he asked me how fast i thought i was going i said maybe 80, and then he made the mistake of sayin that he was doing 80 and i flew by him. When he wrote the ticket he wrote it for 80 in a 60 and when i sent it in to go to court i just got it reduced to half of the fine. When i was younger I drove fast all the time, but i've learned my lesson, only took 6 speeding tickets. Everyone from work gives me a hard time cause i havent got on it yet. Today i found out a cop where i live got a yellow with black stripes and i jokingly said if i see him i'll ask him to race and this guy goes oh you might take it over 35 then? hah anyways sorry for long read
