I'll admit, I'm somewhat perplexed by some people's preoccupation with age. I've had 7 Vettes starting with a 71 LT1 as well as a bunch of hot rods and show cars. My wife and I love our Z28 cause it is nasty, menacing, rare and FAST. Hit the elliptical for an hour and walk at least 2 miles 7 days a week. Also tactical train twice a month with my 1911-45 caliber. By the way, I'll be 73 in October. I expect to have a my Z car till the day I drop dead or become delusional. What the heck, if I get dementia my wife'll take the keys and I can sit in the car and imagine I'm driving.

A while back I played around with the number and figured that the average age of a 2014-2015 Z/28 was 44 even though the age range was wild from 22 to 73. The median age is 44. The mean age is 47. Most are in 30's and 40's - middle aged. It's just cool to see what ages the Z/28 attracts and I can say, ALL OF THEM!!
Very interesting. At almost 73, Looks like I take the cake!😀

I was 28 when I bought mine new, 30 now. Never married, no kids, cheap real estate where I live and have an extremely well paying job for the area which allow for a big discretionary income for toys. My first fast car was an off lease CTS-V I bought when I was 22 when used cars were dirt cheap during the recession. I've had a few performance cars since then, 2010 Camaro SS, C6 Z06, CTS-V coupe, ZL1, and now I'm lucky enough to be able to have the Z/28, a third gen CTS-V and a 700 HP Off-road buggy. Although the GF and I will probably be getting married in the next 18 months so the toys will slow down for a couple years haha.
