Cadillac has said they will be doing engines exclusive to Cadillac. Doesn't mean a version doesn't find its way under a Camaro hood though.

But I would imagine that a 'flagship engine' (as this 4.2L would seem to be) is probably the best candidate to share not share anything with a lowly Chevy.
