LSA swap on a L99 balancer won't line up with A/C
Like it says, I'm in the middle of LSA conversion on a 2010 L99. And I don't even have the balancer pressed on & it's past the a/c pulley. How do I resolve it?

that's an lsa balancer. you need a different compressor bracket, compressor, ac lines and condenser. I had to do this on mine as well

Is there anyway around, replacing all that? ADM make brackets or use a different balancer

their kit uses the stock ls3/l99 balancer which will line up with your ac then but I'd replace the above and put the blower on its own belt and use whatever pulley setup you want and not worry about belt slip

Do you have part # of what bracket, compressor & condenser to use? Or what vehicle are they from? Do I also need to replace the waterpump to a ls3 one so its not sticking out to clear the vvt?

You have basically a couple of options:
1) LS3 Conversion (remove VVT) and do what TTShovel did in order to have a full LSA belt setup 2) Keep VVT, get the ADM idler bracket kit (http://lsa-conversion-store.myshopif...bracket-system). This is what I did (I used a new LS3 balancer). 3) LS3 Conversion and ADM 8 Rib belt upgrade (http://lsa-conversion-store.myshopif...percharger-kit). I personally like the VVT setup, but, if you're trying to get an LSA Belt setup, TTShovels way is what you'll need to do (and I'm pretty sure, you'll need the LS3 conversion so things clear). Don't remember if TTShovels is and non-vvt, but I believe it is... -Don Last edited by hammdo; 09-25-2016 at 05:19 PM. |

I just did the ADM style bracket but an FYI... If you are thinking about turning up the boost down the road, now is the right time to put in an ATI 6% OD crank pulley. This is the only OD crank pulley that works with the standard L99 pulley configuration...
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ati-918625 It was a PITA for me to install it one month after the LSA conversation was installed. I had to go back and re-pin the crank perpendicularly when I had already had it pinned with the OEM CP parallel. Mike |

The best way to use the lsa balancer-our 8 rib upgrade
The 2010-2015 Camaro uses an offset that does not match that of the zl1 exactly.
We cam of with our own CNC Machined brackets that allow you to keep your factory alternator, Factory AC Compressor and lines and factory power steering pump. It works great as you can see on this forum many that are running it on their 2010-2013 417 ADM Lsa blower cars as well as some 1000hp heartbeat cars. Brackets are what you need. I commented on your other post as I did the 3 pulley upgrade on mine....

Thanks Don, I seen and replied to it as well. I already spend all this looney on the lsa supercharger assessory and balancer and it's installed so spending another 1k on that arm setup would be alot of line. Do you happen to know the part numbers for the alternator and ctsv power steering pump needed?

I don’t off hand. I can see if there are numbers on mine, but I did get the adm kit so I’ll need to see...
