I've been looking forward to this fest but I do need a few months to plan and prepare for a big cross country trip and get the time off. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.

It is the 5th annual North Carolina Camaro gathering on May 19 through May 21, 2017. They have a Facebook page about the 4th annual gathering with a note about next years event.

It could be sponsorship is taking longer to get this time. The folks setting this up are volunteers so I'd guess they are not forking out the $. Without someone laying out the $, no easy way to reserve the places the fest would need. Let's hope there are sponsors for this event to help them plan.
Myself, I love BG and NCM. I'll probably wind up there doing some HPDI events there and LS Fest until Camaro Fest heads back from the west coast. Of course, I hear Texas is build a new track between San Antonio and Houston! That will be awesome! http://www.clubtrackholdings.com/track-information.html Hoping the West Coast has a great Fest.. -Don -

Okay,,, here's what happened.
We were literally a day or two from dropping a deposit on Wildhorse pass for the weekend of 5 May when the announcement came from Holley about LSFest in Vegas on the exact same weekend. Three months prior we actually had those same Vegas dates tentatively locked down, but changed to Phoenix. Holley was a huge supporter of our event last year and will continue with us so we plan to fully support them in Vegas and then look for a fall Camaro Fest event site. IMO, both Wild-horse or Beech Bend would be great in the fall. |

So no Fest again.. but maybe in the fall a year from now.
At least I can quit waiting for it now and plan a different vacation. Thanks for letting us know.
