John,

This sound like an amazing get together !! I will plan on attending and I am sure many of the pround Camaro owners will be there as well. Looking forward to the expanded details of the "Texas Camaro Nationals".

The H-Town Camaro Club had a meeting last evening and the club is gaining traction and momentum. We now have a club President and Treasurer and events are being planned for the future. Thanks for James' support and having your Yellow HPE650 (just back from the Monterey car show) at our club meeting. It is always nice to have HOT Camaros to see and hear.

Here are the updated details for this event:

1. Gates open from 12 noon to 5 pm.
2. 1/4 mile drag racing from 1 pm to 5 pm.
3. Dynojet dyno open from 1 pm to 5 pm. We can dyno 3-4 cars per hour on a first come first serve basis.

Cost to 2010 Camaro owners to race and dyno: FREE!

There is no cost to bring your family and friends either.

The track and dyno will only be open to 2010 Camaro's only.

If you have a local shop that does Camaro work, you are welcome to come out and support the club as well. You can set up a display at the track, run your car and dyno it as well as a vendor. The vendor fee is $300 and that money will go straight to the Camaro's of Houston treasury.

Lastly, for those who are able to come out this Saturday, you may have the opportunity to see a very special Camaro. We are in the final stages of completing our LS9 Camaro and it may make an appearance this Saturday. This is not an absolute promise, but we will show it and may give a few test rides.

Who wants to ride in the HPE700 LS9 Camaro this Saturday. Please sign up below:

Count me in..................I know it is not guaranteed, but what time frame should I plan on for this Saturday?

Also thanks for the generous offer to allow the proceeds from the potential vendor proceeds to go to the H-Town Camaro Club coffers.
