Drag Radials
Just wondering...
Any of you guys try to fit 18 inch drag radials? I know Mickey Thompson has these... (ET Street S/S Radial Tire P325/30R19) http://www.jegs.com/i/Mickey-Thompson/672/3490/10002/-1 Do the ZL1 18 inch replicas fit over the rear brakes? I have a friend with a ZR1 and he runs 18 inch drag radials.... ![]() I know one of you guys has to have tried this!

Many people run the rep with this tire in the rear.
http://www.jegs.com/i/Mickey-Thompson/672/3482/10002/-1 Wheel fits over rear Brembo and the tire is 28" tall so it works with stock fronts.

I saw two new C7 Z06 Z07 cars with 18's and DRs. Looked way too tight for me but it apparently fit. I have no idea what the wheels were but I should have been the same rear brakes.

Has anyone figured out a drag setup for the Z28 yet? I know that isn't what the car was made for but would still be fun on occasion.

Forgeline makes an 18 that clears the factory brembos just fine.
My autocross rims are Forgeline GA1Rs in 18x11 and 18x12. |

Nope, grinding the rear caliper is not needed. It fits in the rear without any mods. The front didn't require grinding the caliper either, but it did require a slight shave on top of the hub mount to strut mount. But nothing was needed for the rear.
