Washed it and finished drying right as the rain clouds made their way in and started pouring on the car.. Fml

I have a 2011 Camaro.
State of the art, Onstar knows when to send a cleanup crew and a body bag to scrape my ashes up.
I get a notice that the state of Illinois won't accept my $130 registration renewal until I have an emission test.
so I go to the chevy, oil change, new battery, they plug it into the OBD port and no issues.
Drive to the test station and fail because I don't drive it enough.
In January, in Chicago.
You can't make this shit up.

Going to be near 60 today with no salt on the road. Bout to start her up and cruise around with her because after today, the temps drop and she won't see the road till spring time.

Been sitting in the garage waiting for the rain to stop so I can wash it. In the mean time, after hearing all the good things about it here, I finally ordered the Range AFM Disabler this morning

Just don't let it sit plugged in if you are storing the Camaro. Its a great product!

Thanks for the advice; fortunately, I live in an area where I don't need to store it, the longest it sits is maybe a week or so when we take trips in one of our other vehicles (and I plan on unplugging it on those occasions)

Its not the state of Illinois' falt that you don't know how OBD2 works after 30 years. And the most expensive registration possible is $114, so it does appear you can make this shit up.

Yeah, $135.

Now it doesn't bother me so much about the money, but you know and I know, we all know, the the car doesn't lie to Onstar.

And when I drive it the ringingdingys don't light up the DIC, I'm good to go.
