The only mod I can think of that would have a positive affect on both would be to convert to E85...If you stay out of the throttle descent mpg, but you can gain 40 to 50 rwhp and run 93oct or ethanol without having to have an exact mix... $3k to $3.5k for parts, install and tune...

ZL1 makes a fantastic DD, 100% stock. Just be careful where you park it. My first was stolen out of my work parking lot (nice place, would never think it could happen there) - 1 year old, had 14,500 miles. Replaced with same, 1 year later and 18K miles on it, and now have dual anti-theft mechanisms. Wanted to replace with something different - test drove a lot, and couldn't find a single car I liked better for my purposes.

My gas mileage ranges from 15-16mpg, and I have lots of freeway miles. Don't expect better.

Well thats beats the 1/2 tank of gas per track session I'm getting. lol
