You could do that, but it still wont be a Z28.
I too used to think that way, heck im still thinking that way, but to have a Z28, especially this one, would be an absolute achievement of a goal i have had since i was 4. To own a z28.
Still considering sending my car to Hennesy in 2 years or so to convert it to an LS9 but who knows, achieving a goal like this is something i cant pass up on

Well, I'm all about the BUZZ, but my 2SS/LS3, should clear the 460 RWHP when complete at Cincy Speed. Let's not forget GM measures at the crank. But as a final note... AFTER the divorce, I can still supercharge it!!
Love my new Bioch.. They are just waiting on the software for the HP tune. Hope to get dyno results soon. look for the vid's

I know bits and pieces about a variety of projects but that does not make my conclusions accurate. It is common knowledge that the Z28 was very far along when the program was iced. It wouldn't take much to thaw it out. Camaro sales are as strong as battery acid so there is a strong business case made for a Z28 or other high performance derivative released profitably.
