Convertible / Wicker Bill question
Hey, everybody! So, I'm looking at options in regards to spoilers for my vert (2012). Due to the antenna being right in the factory convertible spoiler, changing it out would be a bit of a nightmare. So, I'm looking at adding a Wicker Bill instead. Does anybody know if this will fit without any issues? I just want to make sure that I don't order it and find out that the install is impossible.

The z-28 style spoiler will work on the Convertible. There's a long aluminum anteana and a medium sized metal piece that has to be moved over. I cut a hole into the bottom of the spoiler and slid everything back in then squirted a little expansion foam to hold things in place. You'd never know it was rigged unless I told you.

The anteane sits right along that portion that the screws go into but the screws will probably go through it and not really hurt anything. It's a flat piece about an inch wide and a 16th thick. The spoilers not metal so it's not going to ground the signal or anything.

I found a wickerbill on eBay that fits up perfect replacing the stock spoiler. Only had to do minor alterations to it to fit the factory antenna in it. I love the news look.
