Hi Don,
I am following your thread since some months now and I am really impressed about what you get out of the LSA engine. I am building a Corvette C1 restomod in Germany with an LSA engine. It has a hotter cam installed, an 11% overdrive crank pulley (8.66") and ID850 injectors. I am not so sure on how to set up the PCV-system and the catch can. I read once that you rerouted your catch can. Could you please help me on that? At the picture below you can see that I already have on catch can preinstalled. Would you use a second one for the valve covers? Thanks, Tobias

MightyMouse PCV Setup
Well, I have the MightyMouse PCV version, so I'll go by that.
This is the "PCV" side and goes to the SuperCharger Manifold: ![]() ![]() The 'valley pan' connections: ![]() ![]() Now, I also ran the LSA valve cover setup like the ZL1 -- to its own catch can: ![]() ![]() This way, I can 'vent' only when under boost and still trap any oil that may get by. I prefer this to an 'open' vented valve cover... I know this works as I've not had any oil really sneak by -- very, very little... -Don

Took it out tonight, temps were right around 59° and she ran excellent, loves the cool air! Really appreciating the performance and that Supercharger whine!
Loving the Recaros... ever time I ride in the car, those seats just amaze me... really glad I finally got them... Just gonna drive it and enjoy what she does... got a couple of bumper changes for trans cooler to do, but not much more left but the transmission! -Don

Man, it gets harder to not want to push the peddle on this setup, it’s like a thoroughbred just begging to be let loose.... runs amazingly...
Thank goodness my wife is with me most times to not let my adrenaline get me... Damn it’s awesome... -Don

Another wonderful night to drive -- car is running amazingly -- I did see one area I may need to fix -- radiator cap -- see just a little bit seeping after a good drive (about 45 minutes). Outside of that, not a single hick-up, its my evening 'therapy' when its not raining and below 48°. Wife still digging the heated Recaros -- I don't have to beg her to go anymore (she's not a fan of the 'instant' seat fitment to the rear of the car during WOT, so I can't do that much with her in it ;o). Gonna setup an alignment appointment -- car is pulling after cradle was dropped, so I'm guessing something moved after all this driving. Not tires -- that I'm sure of. May pop out the QT and see where its at.
Keeping the 100% distilled and water-wetter for now -- no reason to change it since I just had the engine installed -- will wait until winter of next year to do the coolant change and my yearly maintenance items. At this rate, in about 4 years, I'll need to do the valve springs and seals -- have the tools for that. Ah, the planning ;o) -Don

Took it out again after tightening the radiator cap. Fixed that nagging little leak and smell is now gone. Car and engine is performing fantastically.
I’m doing these little updates to catalog how my setup is performing, hoping it helps anyone on the fence... -Don

Well, after going over all my options for trans cooling, I bit the bullet and went with this (without the bypass):
Tru-Cool Max LPD47391 47391 Low Pressure Drop Transmission Oil Cooler ![]() ![]() https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Its the only cooler that would not be covered by the bumper, actually gives me 30% more cooling (BTUs -- 29,500 for the biggest B&M, 45,000 for this one!). So, if I get the 30% cooing (on a 105° day I was right @ 250°) with the current setup (remember, I have the Mishimoto oil cooler in front), I should now see ~175° to 180° under load. I'll test that when the temps get up, but, we'll see if I really get the 30% more cooling. I'd be happy with 20% (~200 °) on the track. So, this will be my next project. Loved the B&M, but with a good portion covered, and this new unit will be 100% in the flow of the air, I expect much better cooling. I should not see any real rise in intercooler or radiator temps since those have been working fantastic. Just part of the flow of changes -- learn new things -- love the fact ALL of this cooler will be in the air flow and I don't need to cut open my bumper. I do have a couple of fittings ordered via Fastenal to work with the ADM hoses, those will be in Monday. Onward and upward... -Don

under the belly pan ;o)
No, I’ll pull out the B&M. It will fit there nicely just wider. Air dams will be updated accordingly! -Don

That looks familiar, I have the SS so I went 1 step smaller version
I also run without the bypass.I like yours better because you can run threaded ANs instead of the crimp ANs I have (Although they haven't leaked, not even a drop)

With the limited space to run hoses, I'm gonna have to go old school with these. 3/8 barbed and clamps -- with fire sleeve to make sure -- then some aluminium rod so the hoses do not collapse....
Not much choice with all the coolers I have -- and the fact I'll need to move the PS cooler too... Ah, the fun of it all... -Don

How do you remove the cap to expose the pins (#40 for flex) on the pcm harness?
