Ya, the wait is getting really frakkin' old. The dealer is less than 4 hrs from Dearborn. 5 days sitting in a rail yard waiting on a truck is pathetic.

I haven't gotten any info/update at all from camarotracking.com. Are you guys really getting daily updates from there? Sucks to be me I guess. What's this automated number you guys are talking about? Is it where you have to have the rail car or truck number to get info from? Or will the info I already have do the trick?

Okay! I made Friday 4:30 delivery!! Trucker made it home to the family for the weekend! They forgot to order the stripe package. Ugh. But they have a set and my husband puts them on (they're extremely hard to install which is why GM started installing).

BUT MY NEW QUESTION!! WHAT ARE PEOPLE IN STATES THAT REQUIRE FRONT LICENSE PLATES DOING? Hubby told 'em not to drill anything! He'll do it if we need to. But we're looking for ideas. One guy we know did something without drilling but we haven't seen it yet. Any creative ideas out there?????

My car was stuck in Dearborn (QC) for 3 days. The plant in Dearborn was about 3 miles from my dealer. Talk about agony! I feel ya.

Camarotracking.com is where you get your railcar number...They didn't have an update today which is why your information is still unchanged...when you do get a rail number it should look like "ETTX487384" or something of that sort...once you have that you can call 1-800-235-2352 and use the automated system to figure out where it is on the rail. DO NOT TALK TO A LIVE PERSON...Sorry for the caps but that will make everybody lose their ability to track. Let me know if you have more questions...everybody should know where their car is

Some people leaked over to the next week. We had people as late as wednesday of this week still getting vins. Good luck with your week.

My car has been unloaded @ the rail yard today @ 1pm now waiting on a truck for a 20 minute ride to dealer.Another long weekend or week and it only took 7 days to get to this point.So close but close only counts in golf!

I'm new here. Been reading this forum for about 4 months so I figured I would join since my car is on it's way. I think my car is on the same rail as yours since mine is headed to Maryland. It's taking forever to get out of Canada. I'm getting the same updates as you are, still in Toronto. By the way I'm a Redskins fan also.

Grrrr if your dealer didnt get them today you wont get them tomorrow. If it does come in tomorrow you wont get it either because most dealerships service departments dont work on Saturdays to do inspection of the car. So if it does arrive its monday evening at best or Tuesday. This blows.

There is a license plate holding bracket that attaches below front bumber area and uses existing screws, so no need to drill into anything. They sell some on Ebay and there may be a link somewhere in threads for someone that sells them also. I will be putting one of these brackets on also since we have to have a front plate here in Texas also.
