Been taking the car out the last few nights (while there is no rain) - wow, this car LOVES E85, runs, idles, and cruises just so smooth. Temps are fantastic (it was 91° out and the IAT2s were 18°-22° over ambient, Coolant 177°-186°, Oil stays under 222°, Trans 155°-163°). Gotta love that -- just purrsssss while driving.

Fixing a couple of items -- some of my LSA wiring was too long, so shorten it up a bit to make it 'nicer'. Adding some length to the 'hot' wire from the Gen5DIY DRL harness, and, just getting ready for the forged engine!

Right now, just want to enjoy every day I can -- weather is weird this year, so anytime I can find a good 'dry' period, I take it out -- did go with the Z/28 folks this past weekend -- what a blast that was -- RAINY too, all of our 'clean/detailed' cars, well, got dirty ;o)

Still, a great group of guys you'll ever want to meet -- tons of fun...

Just gonna drive it every chance I get until it goes to GPI ;o)...

Alright! GPI is cranking along on my engine!

Installed the Improved Racing Oil Pan Baffle today for when I take up the other parts:

Baffle for the Oil Pan:

http://www.improvedracing.com/oil-pa...ffle-p-41.html

And My windage tray/scrapper from Improved will be here next week (I had to wait until I knew the Crank/Rods setup):

EGM-742A (Callies Crank and HBeam Rods, 4.000 stroker)

http://www.improvedracing.com/crank-...kit-p-519.html

Will be getting the C.H.E. Rocker inserts going this weekend!

Lot's happening! Can't wait...

Love the CHE rockers. Those are the best. Nice baffle. If my engine ever blows. I'll have GPI build mine with goodies inside.

Oh yeah! LSA block with an LS3 Callie's rotating hbeam assembly! GMPP heads, custom VVT blower cam, Johnson lifters, Diamond custom pistons (10.5 compression), ARP everything, gonna be a heck of a blower setup!

Blower yes, brand new spec'd VVT cam, current one stays with the engine I'm selling...

Setup will be for daily driving, occasional road course...

Gonna be something!

Hey Don,
Got around to installing my low vacuum actuator by joker. The npt fitting is drilled in the wrong spot. 45 degrees off. Going to send it back. Make sure the one you get is correct before he ships it out. Mine won't clear the idler pulley.

I hope he warranties his blower work. Mine just locked up

Edit: Spinning free again now. Not sure what's going on with it now.

No way! That is a first. I bet he will... can't imagine what could have happened...

How many miles on yours since the port?

About 800-900. He wants a video of it. But I can't duplicate it. I'll wait till it cools and try again. I really dont want to pull that thing back off.

Man, I have about 3k on mine since the port. I had a full eaton kit rebuild etc. on mine just to be safe, oil and all...

I can understand not wanting to pull it off. One of the reasons I kept my other one was in case I ever needed it...

Thanks for the info...
