I disagree the 1LE, while you order it as an option, contains almost as many changes to the SS as the ZL1. You are getting confused by semantics. The real V8 versions are: SS, 1LE, 2014 Z28, and ZL1. Congrats to Chevy for giving us so many choices including the C7 Vette. The car guys are in charge.

Make mine a 1SS+1LE+Supercharger to have a bargain priced ZL1.

I'm curious to see the "refresh". However don't look past the fact of what GM has done every year since the 2010 debut. Each year it's received minor interior enhancements. For hints to what the refresh will be I'd take a look at the 2013 Mustang. The pattern I've noticed between a 2012 5.0 and the Camaro is that GM has been adding things that the Mustang received the previous model year. Remember that the Mustang now has some cool LED headlamps, and 3rd fascia update in 4 years. I'd expect a new grille or for the Heritage grille to become standard. The base grille getting pretty long in the tooth these days. The Taillights could use an update too and I feel that the Euro tail lights would be PERFECT for the 2014 MY. Again remember that the C7 technically loses the quad tail lamp look for a quad look out of a single housing on each side much like the Camaro Euro taillights do. Ultimately look for Chevy to add a couple of new colors, and take one or two away, and of course there will be small interior enhancement.

Either way will be exciting to see.

+1 The interior much more than the exterior needs a refresh. If anything is changed on the exterior it will be subtle, they will not want to mess up a good thing.

IMO the one thing that the Camaro needs the most is a 1+inch higher roofline for better visibility and more room for a helmet.

GM has already stated SEVERAL times that the GEN 5 is too heavy to be deemed a Z/28. That is why they made the 1LE instead.

The Z/28 is most likely going to be on the GEN 6 because it will be on the light "Alpha" platform that is shared by the Cadillac ATS.

This is only going to a "REFRESH" as in slightly redesigned exterior, maybe more choices (better quality?) of paint color and a slightly redesigned interior.

Don't expect this to look completely different, calm down folks......

They have not! And do some searching and you'll see the Z28 was never a lighter Camaro. It was originally designed with a high-revving SB, better brakes, a tranny and rear-end geared for tracking, performance wheels and tires and a great handling package. Why can this not be done using a 5Gen???

So true. But what we all really want is the wheels on your car as standard on the SS.

There sure are some far out ideas for what a "Refresh" should be... I bet there will be a bunch of complaining going on because they didn't get what they thought the "Refresh" should have included...

Please people don't be disappointed if you don't see what you want in the 2014 Camaro...it's only a "REFRESH" not a new generation...

Interesting to note that it looks somewhat familiar to the 2015 proposed Mustang design...

If this is a mid cycle refresh, does that mean we can expect the next platform, "all new" Camaro for the 2017 model year? With a special 50th anniversary edition? Maybe something even more special than the 45th edition?

Glove box light is a simple DIY and saves GM lots of money by not making it standard.

It would be nice to have a remote (button) operated fuel door. I just got my locking fuel cap for $24 that can be keyed to the ignition key. Will be setting the tumblers tonight.
