Personally, it really doesn't matter if were comparing a 1SS/2SS to a GT or not, the 2SS comes with nothing which increasing performance just bells and whistles; usb, bluetooth, leather seats,......that has nothing to do with each engines performance.

2010 Mustang only beats a SS if it has a uniformed police officer behind the wheel, tends to slow down street racing. A GT 500 is a Cobra to me, it has Cobra badges, and "Cobra" rolls off the tongue easier. As for performance, 700 bucks buys a 125 shot of NOX. Ford got away with no competition for too many years, now they need to play catch-up. Coyote should be fun, I always wished he would catch that roadrunner. Now maybe he will.

Truthfully the entire 2010 GT vs Camaro is a done deal. Stock to stock, equal drivers, the GT is not going to outrun a Camaro in a straight line, even with the track pack. In the corners, the GT will get out muscled in the straights. Its just a fact. Now are the performance difference huge ? No its not. So yes, a good driver in a GT can beat a average driver in a Camaro.

The true discussion will begin after the LA auto show, when Ford finally shows its hand. Then things will get very interesting.

I actually like the cowl look of the car....I think it looks better than the 09 version.
