You went to 3400 and all the parts were inline and abut to be built and they realvixed aproblem with the M6 so they temporarily held the order for M6 cars so they have a few options: they either shut down the entire line (not going to happen), build your car witha bum tranny (maybe) or move you to the back of the line while they check the trannys to make sure they are ok. Now when they do that you have to go back to 3000 and get a new TPW. Anyone only at 3000 they just left alone and shuffled the orders in behind. Most people would never be the wiser, just take a week or two longer but in this case with everyone tracking it seems to be a big issue. Its not. You may just a have a week or two longer. Technically they never "stopped" bilding M6 cars, just shuffled them around a little. Now this is my guess but it does make sense, at least to me! EDIT>> or I could read better and see you were never at 3300/3400... Maybe they shuffled the cars in ahead of your order. 8/3 seems to be the date for full steam M6 production. Lots of 8/3 TPWs for M6 cars. But in the end... WHO KNOWS WHY?? Just think you could still have that 7/13 TPW and not be built! |
