Well had to wait for the shop to get a new door. The first one arrived and was damaged so they had to order another. Goes in tomorrow. They are first gonna paint the door and see how it matches the fender and rear quarter panel. If I like it then its done, if not then they will have to blend the fender and rear quarter resulting in me having to remove my vinyl gills and fender hash marks and get news one . I wonder what my rental car is gonna be?

Well I added the JDP stage 2 clutch reservoir mod to my car yesterday and I'm glad I did. My brake fluid looks disgusting

I have to agree. Who cares what others think. And to be honest, out in the "real world", 99% of people won't even be able to tell. They'll just think it's a really nice looking car not that you have zl1 parts or SS parts. So do what makes you happy. Who cares what anyone on here thinks

Yeah you guys are right. It's not like I'm badging it to look like one.
Btw your point on the SS bumper goes for me to. I hate the mail slot. If I decide to go the SS bumper with port rout first thing I do is to fill that up.


Why do you say go for the aggressor ? The hybrid version looks a lot cleaner and not so aftermarket ish.

I'm not sure the route yet but I am looking to go the more traditional route ATM.
I'm even looking to swap my rims for silver or polished

I think it really depends on what look you're going for. Polished/Chrome wheels give it that clean/refined look IMO. Black wheels give it that aggressive/racer look.

I personally like the last pic. If it were me, I'd do the ZL1 Bumper, a stock or anything aftermarket (except cowl, just not my style sorry) all painted SGM. Then I'd do the heritage grille in gloss or satin black with the black wheels in gloss or satin to match. That'd look mean in my book

Man I've thought of SO MANY combinations my heads about to blow.
I if i can decide the bumper than the rest should be easy .
I wanted to get the vis AMS hood if the cowl hood falls thru. I would pair that hood up with gloss black rims
And the aggressor.

I don't know about the majority of people here but I'm 20 and love the old school look of the cowl hood and polished rims.
With that said, the other half loves black rims and other thing that older drivers hate.
The same guy with the polished zl1 rep rims had black rims on his. With the cowl.
It's modern with a hint if retro styling

Yea, that's nutro's car. I saw the polished rims on his before he sold them for the cf5s. If you are going for the old school look, the polished wheels and cowl hood are absolutely perfect!

I have those ZL1 replica polished wheels coming in tomorrow....hope to get them on soon! Might install some ZL1 springs after to close the wheel gap a tad.
