I hope it does...I don't want the lower factory grille in conjunction with the Heritage upper grille. Even color matched, I don't think it looks too good.

Hmmm, definitely will be interesting to find out for sure. Keep in mind that the picture I compared it to below was the 1LT. I should have used this one from an SS:

Umm...judging from the pictures, I'd say there's no bowtie on it

Pete I think you just answered it for me. The lower grill is different on the SS. So yes, it would be just the upper. Since I'm getting a 2SS I should be good!

Thanks for putting up with my bone-headed-ness. Maybe a Suburban should come my way. This process of ordering, checking, double-checking, asking, verifying, and changing has made me criminally insane.

I'm sure pete doesn't mind and neither do we. She's gotta be right, right?

I'm guessing that, like most other billet grille inserts, there won't be an indention for the bowtie. My guess is you will be able to leave it off if you'd like.

I definitely don't mind. Everyone on here was so great to answer all my questions while I was researching this car. I certainly don't mind posting pictures and answers. I just wish that I had definitive answers on some of the questions!

Wow, I'm glad you guys posted this. I never noticed the different grille before. I definitely want this heritage grille now. Can we order this as an accessory when we place our original order or as an aftermarket thing?

This solves my small compalint about the original grille. Gotta have it!!!
