Oil breather install help

That is pics of the catch can installed, not the breather. I need pics of the tube removed and what not. I don't want to mess it up. I am not the most mechanically intelligent, but give me a piece of electronics and I know what to do with it. The pics at the end are of a turbo setup which I believe none of us in here have. Thanks though camaro-21.

First I heard of this as well and I've had mine on since around May I guess. I have no idea about what's to be done. Maybe I should find my OEM cap.

For the V6 it is NOT critical like it is on the V8, but still a good idea.

UPDATE: I went to Lowes and found the part in the PVC area. They were super cheap. I have now installed my breather correctly.

Question: what do u have the passenger side blowoff going into. And I thought the can should receive the blowoff from the passenger side?

Ive had my catch can and breather for a few months now and havent gotten around to putting them on yet. And I gotta say that after reading this thread i still have absolutely no idea how I'm supposed to do this correctly or if i even have all the parts to do it correctly? Sigh. Looks like itll sit around another few months.

I will post a pic of the part tomorrow. The item number is 54456 and model number is 351825. Here it is on their website for reference: http://www.lowes.com/pd_54456-322-35...d=10151&rpp=24

It took me about 15 minutes to find the part. It was in the plumbing section of lowes. It wasn't down an aisle for me but on the back wall near the actual pvc pipes. There was a section just for the type of plugs of all kinds of sizes and prices.

For those with the first gen Injen intakes with the 1 inch inner diameter opening, rather than leaving excess hose I found an expanding 1"-1 and 3/8" rubber plug and capped the driver side head port with a 3/8" rubber cap that came in a "bypass cap" assortment in the HELP section at Autozone. To top it off I removed the filler neck being that I removed the engine cover months ago. Looks clean and organized.
