My dealer asked me if I would still bring my Camaro back for the unveiling on May 6th if I take delivery before the event. Car is in transit so I'm told.

15 dealers have 15 versions of what the "plan" is . It does not matter what your dealer said as it is not what the next one is doing.

My dealer told me today that they are expecting theirs around the 7th. It was "given" to them by Chevy. It's a V6, but there is no other info such as color, options, etc.

I was invoiced yesterday for our "display" Camaro its a Red LT RS automatic. $28075 msrp $27138 invoice. Its a little disappointing how little markup is in a 28k car.

How do dealers survive on that small amount of mark up?
