No disrespect to the OP. I would hope most people would put their family/people before a car.

"Smells like typical New Jersey Orc mischief to me..."

Definitely ask for compensation of some kind. It should be something worthwhile and not a stupid free mousepad. Free gas for a year should be adequate.
If the salesman had problems? Ok, fine, no problem there, but he or the dealership needs to be prepared to compensate you for YOUR inconvenience. I'm certain he wasn't the only person that was capable of processing your order. It is only fair. A launch like this is too big to lose much time on, especially with this kind of car.

I am going there Sat afternoon to re-do the order and I will ask them again, depending on there answer maybe I will just go to Kerbeck in A/C and buy a Vette, Lord knows Turnersville cant even match their prices on Vettes.

Going to be tough all around. South Jersey isn't going to be a staging point for this car I'm afraid. Might want to try up north in Bergen County. Paramus Auto Mall or Hawthorne Chevrolet. Even surrounding dealerships like Schumacher already has 2 cars with VINS and is likely already being shipped. Wish I had some more advice for you man. Sorry.

This just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. If you went to the dealer. Placed your order..(with deposit i assume) How can they not place your order? Smells a lil fishy to me possible they could have bumped you to sell the spot to someone else... But hopefully this didn't happen. I just have a hard time trusting people

I was told on 4/1 that they were posting additional customer orders and hoping GM would pick them up and if that happened I would be required to write $1000 check. On 4/1 I was 9th on their 2nd list.

Do what you have to do man. Nobody here will think any worse of you. Dealership should have had backup for you if the other guy couldn't process your paperwork in time.
