I hear you Joe but most of the time they just don't have a clue.
PS. ECF hood is plus $600. I'm sure you can get 1000 people to trade you even swap

If you get the ECF you can paint it flat black its what GM does.

We know more than the dealers do, so lighten up some. They may not know they are being built out with the ECF. I didn't know mine was built with the ECF until I seen the Window Sticker. Just paint the damn thing what ever color you want, the dealer can't control what gets built. If you don't like the car, don't take it ... After all it belongs to the dealer until all the paper work is done.

mine is built as ordered with ecf and got a credit of $600 for it on window sticker

ok...I'm kinda pissed now. I had the black insert with the black stripe ordered on mine and just got my window sticker. It says I have the ECF insert and no stripe.

I'm having really mixed emotions right now. I'm happy that I FINALLY got a VIN, #742, but I'm not getting what I ordered. Thanks though!

Mine was changes also, from black inset to ECF at no charge. The upkeep will be easier, and as soon as we get behind the wheel, we will say "what insert" ...

were you informed beforehand that it was being changed or, did you find out after it was built? I'm just upset that I had no heads up on this at all. I had it ordered the way I wanted it and it's not coming that way.

There plenty of people who got screwed the same way with the exposed hood insert and got the flat black one , and if u want to trade for my flat black just pm me and u can get the stripe at the dealer
