I love my Boss.... and my SS too of course!

And of course it's the first one they kill off for 2014.

Yesterday, order guides for the 2014 model year Mustang started to surface online, and the Boss 302 was conspicuously absent. We thought it could be a rumor and that the Boss 302 order guides just weren't released yet.

We didn't want to believe it.

Alas, it's true. We spoke to Ford, who told us that the Boss 302 is limited to a two year production run, like the original car 43 years ago. That means it's gone after 2013.

That's a shame."

Not really. More like the Boss has a 2 year contract, which expires in 2013.

Laid off, boss...

I want to see a Mach 1 for the first couple years of the new body style. Lighter, IRS, powerful (cough5.8cough)- but I heard the 5.8 was done after 13/14

When is Chevy bringing out the IROC again?

i doubt they will bring back the IROC because I believe they have to pay for the name.

An N/A 5.8 would be a nice engine.

I think the IROC name was leased so I doubt we will see it back.

The International Race Of Champions series has been discontinued, its last season was 5 years ago. The name could very well be up for grabs by now, and even if its not ... GM might have more legitimate claim to the name now since the IROC racing series is dead and gone.

That said, since the IROC racing series is dead and gone what would be the point in using that name for a Camaro?

If Ford brings out the Mach 1 that would be awesome! A big FAIL from GM if they do not respond with something soon, (Z28 hint,hint!)

My buddy ordered a 2013 Boss over three months ago and is still waiting. I sent him that web site. He maybe geting one of the last ones. Good article - thanks.

Really? Damn they're all over FL. One dealer in So.FL is willing to go 1k below msrp for a '13 LS. Not bad...
