First off as stated above the 21" are a dealer installed option. Let me give you a little background on the some of the dealer installed options.

Once the dealer gets the order he knows that he must recieve the dealer installed parts from his ADI. It's like a parts arm for accessories. Chevrolet tells both the dealer and the ADI that there is an order coming. The delaer actually can get the parts and have them in his hands prior to getting the car.
The problem with the parts is not GM or Chevrolet. It is between the dealer and his ADI. If the ADI doesn't anticipate the demand then shame on him. Camaro marketing has done a great job of telling the ADI's as well as the dealers about the demand for accessories.

At least you have some wheels till the others arrive.

Have a great day!

Robin

OK and now i present BELLA!!!

God i love this site. You guys kept the information flowing and i was more tha prepared to go to the dealer and pick up my baby. Short questions answered:

a. Yes you keep your 20's if you get the 21's. They told me that the wheels come in tomorrow and that they can have a truck take them home (20's) or you can take them home once the 21's are installed.

b. No. My ride did not have a gap on the OnStar antenna.

c. No dis-coloration on the front Fascia. Looked at it in overcast clouds and sun light (drove to show her off)

d. My interior was perfect. No plastics popping off not scrathes.

e. Yes you notice the car dropping to v4 and back to v8. but the shift is instant.

Anywho, got the call as you all read and ran to the dealer. My 06' civic never went so fast. Get to the dealer and he tells me that 21's and valve covers will be in tomorrow (no big deal) seeing as how when i pulled into tthe dealer 8-10 people huddled around the car! They did not touch. Sales guy tells me to hurry up and drive it off because he has been fending off people for hours. So paper work paper work no big deal. Then he tells me "well ill have the guys PDI it" i said uh...ok. Heading many warnings on this forum i went to the PDI station and observed their care. Very gentle they were and had gloves and lint free (baby butt smooth cloths-i felt them ....lol) They did not put o nthe front plate as i instructed and didn't put the dealership tag-like i instructed. I drive it out of the detail area cause its been 1 hr of paper work....i say " Thats enough, i'm ready to go". So as i am backing up the detailer goes "yo-yo-yo watch out!" i damn near shit my pants...then he started laughing ( not funny).

I will say that driving the car is unreal. The stories are true people awwing at your ride and cell phone pics, mobs when you stop at the store, and yes the POLICE!!! they honked their stop siren but then gave the thumbs up ( another shit pants moment). Whoever has a problem driving "via blind spots" needs to gets used to the car. In the pics you will see our 4th gen and i owned a 3rd gen, and let me tell you yes you cannot look over your shoulder but all else is kool. I am now to read the manual and use every bit of tech by tomorrow, and i will post more pics but here are some for everyone....i wanted to drive not take pics lol ( will get night shots). zero complaints from me.

Planned:
CAI
hush power pro series
GRD fx painted color of car
21's - polished allum
valv covers IOM

if anyone needs a question answered i can do my best now that i am an owner. Ordered : 4/12/09 Delivered : 6/16/09

Yeah, and I thought I was the only one. Good to know I wasn't alone in my obsession. Wonder how many times they have me on camera driving around the lot.

Oh yeah, and to the OP, congrats, you're gonna love it!
