To avoid the scratched rims I use the little stick on round cheater mirrors. Work well for parallel parking too

can you program the mirrors to drop when you're in reverse? that helps a bunch on my other cars. if not, position your passenger mirror down so you can see your rear wheel... it will help a bunch.

You can aim the mirror all the way down, so you can see the curb.

I put the top down. ![]() ![]() in all seriousness though, I don't have an issue doing it top up or down, never had an issue with any vehicle..

I have back up sensors, but, being used to driving trucks and vans, I find the Camaro challenging to park...aways concerned about scraping rims on the curb.
Tilting the passenger side mirror down does help. |

Easiest way to avoid curb rash: I never parallel park.

Just aim your curbside mirror down - it just takes a little practice.

Should be able to do it no problem just get used to it. If you need a backup camera you can't really drive anyway. I ordered my 2010 early & it took awhile to get, I was pissed when I saw the back up sensors. They weren't on Camaros when I ordered mine but, they put them on later and I got them . I don't want or need any of that crap.

It just comes naturally for me. I look, check, double check, and I take my time to get them in the spot.

I've been driving a Camaro since 1994, I find the 5th Gen easier to park than the 4th.
The front overhang is less and I can see the corner so it's easier to swing it in. As for back distance, without the camera it would be hard in the day when you can't see the reflection of the backup lights on the car behind you.

No issues parking and I do not have sensors or back up cam. I am so used to whipping my truck into parking spots (I back in everywhere I have to combat park) that the Camaro is easy.
