22K miles a year a lease is not an option

C'mon dude, you have a Hennessy modded car... of course you're not going to daily drive it.

I daily drive my Camaro SS. Gas mileage isn't great, but whatever. It's reliable and comfortable for sitting in traffic.

If you really wanted a daily beater, get the Civic. Better than that POS Cavalier, amirite?

Or, just pile on the miles on the Camaro. There's over 500k of them on the road.

My commute to work Monday - Friday is 120+ Miles each day. Sure, I don't like putting all those miles on my car but I enjoy every minute in her. And I need the job to keep her . So I understand where you are coming from but you have to do what you have to do. Put up that $2500 for more frequent oil changes and if you're not running full synthetic, prepare to do so just to be safe.

I worry less about the miles on the engine and more about how bad the pot holes on EVERY ROAD IN MICHIGAN are ruining my suspension.

I drove it to work today, its a V6 yet there are no other v6s that can catch me, and very very few v8s on the road.....a part of me is afraid to drive it that far everyday due the fact when I am driving the camaro my avg speed is 80MPH

Perhaps I should point out my car is a V6, Yet has about 6K worth of Modifications
ie: NightOwl Kit, VDI Kit (Vertical Doors) - Custom Lighting - Custom Stripes

Daily driving it would mean more risk of accident, and loss of that money

You need to take your foot out of her friend. I get you though, it's hard not to wanna punch it here and there. Once you tame yourself, you'll be good. I cruise control at 70MPH in the morning. About 66 miles and I get anywhere from 23 - 25 MPG. All depends on how many people I have to pass on the left. In the evening, TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY. Traffic is horrid. Turns that 45 minute to an hour commute into an hour and a half - 2 hour commute. But my MPG stays the same. I clear my mileage on the 1st trip report, average mpg and average mph after each commute. But I clear the second trip every month to see how many miles total I did for the month. I'm averaging about 2400 miles each month now. So I'm doing about 1 oil change a month as well.

Actually it is, a dealership can set up a lease for any amount of miles, I used to be a finance manager, it is doable.

Ohhhhhhhh I see you!

I forgot to mention, I don't know how people drive where you reside but here in SoCal . I just purchased a dash. It came yesterday. Haven't had a chance to install yet, since I want to hard wire it. I would invest in one if you haven't done so already.

What are your long term plans for the Camaro? Do you have your sights set on an SS or some other performance car in the future? I ask, because you could keep the money you already have and save money for that next car by driving your Camaro to and from work.
