I think the G8 will be quite the collector car in the years to come.

A buddy of mine asked me for advice on which car to get for a sedan i pointed him in the direction of the G8 or the caddy cts. He ended up buying the CTS for the same amount of money its a nicer car imo. Just my 2 cents.

The G8 is the solid performance sedan choice. If it was an SS that you have I'd say don't get rid of it for a G8 but since it's the V6, going to the G8 GT would be a performance upgrade. Ideally the GXP is the car you'd want to get but new they cost $10k more than the GT. Just remember that the G8 isn't going to be a Camaro, though the G8 will still be an excellent performance car.

G8 is nice. CTS is a great car also, but dude if your thinking of dumping the camaro because you keep hitting your head. STOP HITTING YOUR HEAD!!!! Clearly the damage is affecting your judgement. lol
But seriously I'm 6'3" and maybe I'm just used to watching out for things that may do harm to my noggin but just duck down further. You're probably just so excited to get into it you dive on in. Take it easy and you'll be fine.

It would be much easier to load groceries and little kids into a G8

With the shut-down of Pontiac, it may be hard to find one right now, but if you think you should do it then you should. G8s are great performance sedans.
That said, there are rumors of the VF Commodore coming to the states as a Chevy...

We have both cars at our house my wife drives the G8 GT. It is a very nice car with plenty of power, not as much as my Camaro but it's no slouch. It does have more room for sure. The ride is outstanding as well. I guess I have the best of both worlds. When we need the room of the sedan we have it.

G8 is an awesome car, had mine for a year and still in love with it. Its definitely roomier inside, and if you love the sound of your V6 just imagine how much more you'd love hearing the V8 in the GT.

Guaranteed you will regret selling the camaro for a G-8. If you do be sure to post pics of your new ride for us.
