The grille I have doesnt have any sharp edged mine was from rubbing over and over...I would be confident saying clear bra would prevent it..

I am working on getting a piece we can add to our line up of camaro protection that just covers that area. It will be a pretty small market for it so if you are interested PM me.

here was the response i received from T-Rex:

Josh,

When it was designed, we looked at numerous ways to install the grille. Our
intent was to make installation simple and permanent. We feel our final
design was relatively simple since there was no drilling and did not require
removing the entire bumper cover or grille from the vehicle. The other side
of that meant the grille would have to rest on the bumper cover in the
grille opening. This is why there is the scratched on the bumper cover.

All our grilles are designed with the intent of it being installed
permanently. In this particular case we understand your disappointment if
you were going to install the grille temporarily. We apologize for the
situation and will look the best way to avoid the confusion in the future.

Thank you,

Mark Jimenez

They should buy you a new front fascia since they knew beforehand it would scratch the hell out of the fascia and failed to tell you when you bought it.

I am a distributor of this company I love this look this one is one that does not cover the head lights but they do offer ones that do, They also offer a lower one with out the side vents also.

If you have any questions pm me about pricing or installation.
You do have to screw into your bumper for mounting.

Sorry about the pics it has been raining alot.
