please send me his IP via PM as well, as I own www.Z28.com and dont want this tool on my site trying to scam our people as well...
Also just for future reference, in order to help protect our members I have my site setup where a member has to have a minimum of 50 post or 6 months registration before they are allowed to post anything in the classifieds. This may not stop all the scammers but it does deter alot of them. Becuase they are not going to sit around for 6 months or take the time to make 50 post. I do get several complaints about not being able to post items for sale from new members, but most people understand when I explain it to them. What the 50 post does also if they go that route is leave more of a virtual trail of clues that helps if need be. Scammers usually register and try to make a quick sale and dissappear fast.. If I can help yall in any way let me know... see ya tomorrow..

Hey no offense taken. Have you used Paypal before? Yes, only to buy things from websites. Ok well when you send the money to my account your under paypal protection. If you don't get the wheels from me then you can file a claim and I would have to show proof of the wheels being shipped. If I can't paypal refunds your money. I'd only be eligible for that if I bought the wheels from you on ebay though.[/QUOTE] You can always make a claim through paypal. Once that happens then I need to send them proof from Fedex showing I delieverd items to your address. If I cannot do that then paypal will refund your money. |

I bought a phone off ebay once for $115, and the guy never sent it, I was about 15 or 16 at the time, didnt know what to do
Well My sister helped me out, we got all the email correspondences together, and contacted Baton Rouge PD, they have a internet crimes division, showed them all the goods.... They went to his house and arrested him in front of his fiance and 3 kids, he immediately emailed me asking if I still wanted the phone or if I would like my money back, apologizing saying being arrested in front of his family was a rude awakening yada yada he overnighted me my money the same day

I've been ripped before with Buick and Camaro parts; fortunately not with G8 parts. I will tell you this, I nearly got ripped for $900 bucks on a Buick Hyrdoboost braking system. Without naming the company in Long Beach, CA, I did make a flight from Detroit to California just to confront the bastard. He was being evicted out of his building due to non-payment of rent. I happened to arrive on a Wednesday and his last day was Friday. Most of his equipment and parts were in the process of being moved. Imagine his surprise when I walked in the front door and demanded a refund for parts he and his crew authorized me to return! He made a ton of excuses and actually showed me my receipt posted to his bulletin board (with my credit card number clearly visible) and said it was in process. I told him when I left I would have a receipt in my hand for the full amount of the refund or I would be in contact with the Long Beach Police charging him with retail fraud. He then claimed no phone so he could not process the credit. I said I would follow him to his bank. Well, long story short, he left to go to his bank and I waited another hour for him to return with a receipt. Little did he know I had already been in contact with MasterCard and was told if I had a receipt showing credit it didn't matter if he had funds or not, I would get the refund. All I can say is the price of the airfare was worth the look on his face with all 6'2" of me walked through the door with a serious kick ass look on my face.
Advice to all, pay with a credit card no matter direct transaction or Paypal, and really get to know who you are doing business with. This guy had been on OverHaulin and other shows and still turned out to be a complete dirtbag. Nothing quite as rewarding 5 days after the trip when I saw $900 bucks credited to my charge card.....
