nobody has mentioned it yet, but I'm thinking that this supercharged camaro might be heading for a gas guzzler surcharge/tax.

If the V6 Sedan CTS get's 18/27 mpg compared to 18/29 mpg from the Camaro V6, and the CTS-V gets 12/18 mpg, then a resulting 12/20 mpg could happen.

It seems to be destined for the gas guzzler tax on top of whatever it will cost (my guess being ~10k above a well optioned 2SS).

I like the exhaust, but no spoiler and hood makes me think the pic is just a V6 with a front bumper kit.

The new 5.0 is a better engine than the 5.4 that the GT500 is based off of, so it is entirely possible.

BTW, it has Ti-VCT, not vtec. Saying it has or will get vtec is like calling dodge's hemi engines as 'LSX's' when they have no real connection to each other.

I dunno, there are a lot of really powerful vehicles on the road that avoid it, but it's possible.
