i don't have that. kind of glad i don't. sounds like it'd be an eyesore.

And now, the rest of the story…
The GM Mark of Excellence (chicklet) is being discontinued on all GM vehicles. A few GM models have indentation where the chicklet is in stalled, these will require retooling before the chicklets can be phased out completely.

As of the 2010 Camaro, there are three “versions” early Camaros have the chicklets near the front wheel well. They were moved towards the rear when it was discovered the splash guards didn’t fit correctly. Later they were left off all together.

Now for “Collector Car 101” How to spot a future collectible
Rules:
1) The vehicle is popular or in demand.
2) Vehicle needs to be “exclusive”, it needs to stand out.
3) Rarity, the fewer the better.
Contributing facts
1) The age of the original buyers, i.e. younger buyers may want to relive their youth.
2) How many of the vehicles survive, between crashes and abuse it could be hard to find a nice Camaro, 10-20 years from now.

Bottom line while it would be nice to make a bundle of money off your purchase of a 2010 Camaro, the best you should hope for is it that it does deprecate as fast as other vehicles. BTW I’ve never seen anyone drive or enjoy a money fund as much as they enjoy driving their Camaro.

Yep, get out n drive, a good 70,000 of them need to get totaled n scraped, before they even start to be worth anything more then sticker price.

If I really wanted the chicklets, I will take them off my wife's Equinox and put them on my car.

Possibly a very early 1SS ABM that was in perfect shape, with almost no miles, could go up in value after a decade or so.

What does the "GM" emblem mean?!

I know what it stands for, obviously I am talking about the emblem above the skirts, near the front tire. On some camaros I see them, but on others I don't. Personally, my Camaro doesn't have it... And I am wondering why?

THANKS

That emblem is something only the earlier 2010 camaros have. At one point in production they stopped putting them on.

So when did they stop. I guess mine's an earlier production car.

They started them in 2006 I think. I remember being on a Corvette forum and people going ape sh*t over them at the time. I've always hated them with a passion. Very happy they no longer put them on
