And you guys have installed the clamps on the in and outlet "nipples" on the engine side or not
There is no need to worry about the catch can falling as long as it is properly installed. Every piece of it has had a thorough stress analysis performed to ensure that it is up to the job. We have never used Loctite on that bolt and have not had any problems with it backing out.

You can trim the hoses if you need to. We try to include a little more than is needed.

The clamps are intended to be used on the engine end of the hoses. Honestly, they are not really necessary but that is what they are for.

Are the hoses on the engine end supposed to go over the little lip on the factory tubing connection? I have mine clamped right before the lip but just curious what you recommend?

Great Product and perfect fit and finish!
Would be really cool to have the factory clip/lock type fittings for the engine side but not needed at all. Helps to have a helper with small childish hands for the install.

If you can get them over the lip that is great but it is not critical. Very glad to know that you are happy with the catch can.

2011Black2SS took his ZL1 on a weekend road trip to Florida last weekend. Can was empty when he left and this is what he collected over 2015 highway miles.

I installed it at 250 miles and checked it today at 1025 miles. It definitely is needed!

Be sure to empty it before you go and post some pictures afterwards.

Ok, I went to check my catch can today and when I unscrewed the bottom and the insides of the can came out with it lol...

I'm not sure how long it was like that so I'm not sure how effective the can was, but I just screwed the inside section back in and wiped off my oily hands before taking a picture of the catch.

The following was approximately 400+ miles, 150-200 miles were on the road course track.

It must not have been in there tight. A dot of Lok-Tite on the threads will help to prevent that happening again.
