Awesome customer service as well! I called twice and they knew exactly what to do on both occasions. Thumbs up!

I I have this same camera but not sure which wires are spliced to where. Not wanting to send voltage to somewhere it doesn't need to be.

The LS does not have power for the camera from the mirror wiring harness. There is a red wire looped out of Ofer's harness about 20" from where it plugs into the camera. I use this red wire to tap into the green wire on a reverse light, and make all other connections mentioned?

Pull the red wire out, and t-tap it to your backup lights, that will power the front side of the harness and if you got the mirror harness to it will power the mirror when you need it, if you need more help you can call me.

Any chance this kit will be offered with a newer style (or more sleek) mirror in the near future?

Thanks for the reply. I guess something more similar to the LS frameless mirror you sell.

I'm actually looking at a camera from an equinox. - it and it's bracket are one piece, and it's meant to snap in place from the outside/under (it goes in the liftgate handle on the equiniox) it's a little hard to see in the pics, but there are fingers on the sides of the camera that should hold onto the bumper plastic... and appears to have the right plug configuration

We have tryed for 2 years to make the 2012 Camaro mirror work in older cars with no luck, we think the BCM does not let it come on, so to get the BCM reprogrammed is not going to hapen.

nice find, but its the same camera as all the rest of the GM line, only the mounting is different.

I thought it might be, but from the part diagrams, its only a 1 piece bracket, and comes with camera.
