This thread made me realize that I drove most of my other cars at higher speeds than this one. I have probably run to 115 at the end of a quarter mile since I never lift at the end of the track and my fastest was around 112. In Europe on the autobahn, I had the Corvette to 183....legally!

I beat the Mustang! It was a practice day. You couldn't really pick who you ran beside. My V6 mostly ran against V8s. I thought I did not do that badly for a rookie. Don't worry, I will get better. On the 1/8 th mile track I actually beat a very modified V8 Camaro. Okay, he got loose but I beat him just the same.

I am hoping to do the texas mile this year, be real nice to hit 200 but i dont know if mods i got planned to that point will support that speed.
