i've never had a problem in my v6 m6. i also have never line locked it. i rev and slowly let out of the clutch till it starts to catch and then dump. 24k miles and no problems. no tires either

Tried that in my SS M6 and it worked but then all i smelt was the clutch burning up! but still a very successful burnout!
