I think it shows that 20-22" are the sweet spot for this car. 24"s just overwhelm the rest of the car. If you're gonna go extra big, you have tuck it up under the bodywork like you see on some old-school Chevys.

I like the way they look but I bet the ride is harsh and the replacement bill $$$.

How do they even seat those tire beads? With the flame trick??

thats ridiculous looking, i hate overly large wheels on smaller cars. 20'' tops for me, keeps the car in proportion imo. Plus, the really thin tires make the car look like it just lost its balls and 100hp at the wheels. =D

24", maybe on a Peterbilt, or a stagecoach with horses pulling the damn thing. It looks ridiculous.
I saw a 69 Camaro today with what looked like 22's", had to be one of the stupidest things I have ever seen.

Oddly enough, I actually don't mind that too much. Personally, I wouldn't go above 22", but 24's aren't nearly as overpowering as I figured they would be. Black on black looks great. Now, lower it an inch or so

Can't stand the look and when I see big wheels I just think unsprung weight and how that weight destroys the braking ability and much of the handling as well as ride.

They look great, but what do I know? The last time I gave a cosmetic opinion, someone told me to go back to my popped collar or something along those lines.

I don't know why people need a justification for their mods. If it's mainstream to do what they are doing, then they won't even ask. If it is out of the ordinary, then they already know. The odds are that someone is staking their confidence on their car's rims, door hinges, tint, sound system, or car in general. It's not what you drive. It's how you drive what you've got. If you have confidence when you rock your 32" chrome spinners, then you'll still look like a badass, even when you have to climb that ladder out of your car.
