I don't really think I am ashamed to listen to anything, but some of my friends don't listen to my kind of music. I posted the following on FB to illustrate:

You guys remember Bill and Teds excellent adventure? The mall scene when they ran from the cops, the music in that scene was from Extreme: Do you wanna play? The solo in that song is taken from Beethoven's music and it damn good but the rest of the cringe really is cheesy.
