Question. I tried step by step in this process but ran into a problem. The new brembo brake calipers do not fit where the existing calipers were mounted. Can the rotor be pushed back so the caliper can snug into place? Please. I need help. I'm new to DIY jobs and I wanted to tackle this setup myself.

Are you using SS rotors?
They should fit in the 2 holes fine The rotor needs to be pushed back all the way.

No, I'm using the same rotors that came with the RS. Do the rotors need to be SS for them to match up? There is two holes that match up except the calipers don't snug in. It's like the the mount brackets are too thick. |

You have to run the rotors from a Brembo equipped car. You cannot use the V6 rotors with those calipers.

I used duplicolor caliper red, made my own brembo decals, then clear coated with VHT high temp clear gloss coat. They came out beautiful

![]() Wow this looks really good. Is this from a powder coat process or from a paint can? Looks professionally done. Wish I could do this. I have a front and rear set of brembo calipers i purchased from EBay a couple of months back that desperately need a paint job. |
