Well I got 2.9% on a 2014. Maybe I'll look for 2013's in the trim I want...

The only 2013 Camaros I have seen lately on lots around here are ZL1s or Hot Wheel editions.

Leftovers in my area of any years always seem to be loaded out 2SS's in the 40,000+ MSRP range and never 1SS's. But then again, the dealers in my area seem to stock five 2SS's to every one 1SS so it makes sense that the pricier car out numbering the lesser priced car in the volume of five to one it makes sense it's always the 2SS's that are left over. Hell I stopped this morning before work at the dealer I bought my current car from to look a their one and only 1SS and it was sold by the time I was driving home around 3pm... Oh yea, there is one left over 1SS, but it's MSRP is $37,670!? Yea, ok, I'll take a 2014 for $2000+ cheaper, thanks...

I don't trust anyone who deals in absolutes......using the word "never" or "always" with me sets off warning bells.

I didnt have to give up any rebates either, still got $2500 in rebates. I didn't pay full sticker either, three grand was knocked off sticker price. I drove a hard bargain with GM, because I wasn't desparate for the car, and it took a whole two months of negotiating and patience.....ya if you go in and look desparate then GM has you by the short hairs.... I might have said that a time or two....

0% is stupid. You should instead take the cash back and the low financing if your credit is good. I see so many people waaaay to upside down on 0% for 72 month suburbans that have 100K miles and they wanna trade it in.
Now if you keep the car forever....then 0% might be a good option for you, but they're using the rebate $$ to buy the rate down to zero.... no banks actually loan money "for free"

If I'm not mistaken, GM uses GM Financial to do their loans (GM got into that business a while ago and has become a huge part of their business model). You can find out from the website if you need more details. -- I DON'T believe someone who says 'never' or 'always' either -- too much 'gray' area.

Not ALL deals are the same, in my case 0% was way better than 6%, AND it made it affordable so I could do the deal. So who cares if they kept any rebates? Say for example they were gonna give me a $3000 rebate on a 27000 dollar car and it brought it down to 24000 dollars, but they charge me 6% interest? That would end up costing me around $32000 in the long run, but instead I take the car at full price of $27000 at 0%? In the long run I pay $27000, hmmmm thats $5000 difference!!!! Dont need to be a rocket scientist to figure out which one to go for.....
