Subjective.

Right now, on 45 degree morning commutes. 150%

On an autocross, probably between 95 and 110% (autocross runs tend to be on cold tires, even on hot days they are not up to temp)

Track day, can't use these, they'd go to hell quick.

  • G2s: Rock throwing is like like a tramp stamp; although problematic, it's a sign of good things to come.

Good info! I don't do actual track days, but we do have a cool deal at Watkins Glen International here in NY where we can pay $25 and we get 3 "paced" (which means we are going at a pretty good clip) laps around the track. Wondering if these would suffice for that and some rather spirited driving on the back roads in the country. I never had issue with the 20" P-Zeros doing a few laps and such on my last Camaro

3 paced laps ... no problem.

Well before that point, the G2s on stock rims will be going back on.

Just confirmed at 70 degrees last week...

these tires at 1.08G's the back end will squeal and traction control kicks in The front end did not make a sound and stuck like glue... Man, it is really amazing what this car will do.... I think I am obsessed...

( I do have an F250 if it snows)

I am by no means pushing my 1LE to the limit, I bought it for the looks, sound, and just plain badness and I have always run Ultra High performance A/S tires on my last 2 cars, I do prefer Conti DWS but they only have 175/35/20..

I really like how these tires make the car feel.. it is perfect for cold weather and rain, it made the drive in rain very much more enjoyable from not being worried about hydroplaning off the road.

They are not as sticky as the G2's, no more rocks being thrown down the side of my car, the OP hit the nail on the rest.

at 175 bucks these have been outstanding so far, all 4 mounted, road force balanced, alignment and tire replacement for under 1000 dollars...

I took measurements and pictures before and after that I will attach after I return home..

Nevermind the last question, I liked the P-Zeros, so these may do the trick for me and save a $hit load of $$$ which I could spend on HFC's or something

Road trip to Wyoming this morning in 5 degree temps. Tires still nice and compliant, smooth ride. Still liking them a lot.

Any other website options besides tirerack, before I order? I remember a thread that people where posting links getting them for crazy cheap prices. Also is this tire rating correct that we can run on the Camaro? 100w for 285/35 and 104w for 305/35?
