I just bought the Mobile 1 M1-113 ( I do believe) it was $14 out the door.
I was going to go with fram till I saw the Mobile 1 at AutoZone. Fram Part # 100060 with the appropriate prefix in front for the performance type.

Truthfully I would not use your oil or filter for that long either. They are not designed to do that. If you use the best quality lubricant on the market it does not break down anywhere near as quick as cheap products. Then a good quality filter can last a lot longer since it is not having to fight sludge. Do some reasearch into what you put into and on your car. Quality pays, it does not cost.

$60K CAR AND $10K HOUSE...Makes sense if you live by the rule a friend from long ago told me " I can live in my car but I can't drive my house"!!!!!
Are any of these filters available in a higher capacity form? I used a longer Mobil1 and K&N on my LS1. Held about twice as much oil and had more media for filtering. Last edited by WhyMe; 01-29-2010 at 05:39 AM. |
