I am going to suggest strapping on one of these before you turn the key...

Whether it fires up or blows up, I think after all you have been through you're gonna soil yourself either way

Remember.... video for the first turn of the key!!!!! Better yet, a live streaming feed, we all wanna be there with you...

PQ, look around you, look at everything, everything around you has an edge, you gotta live on the edge, hit the "go" button and gouge on it, it's all good.

Seriously, do your pre-combat checks like was said earlier, you'll be alright. You need the video of when you turn the key and it fires, you'll be thinking dang it worked, and then "hell fricking yea!, and talk about permagrin.

Hey PQ, I felt the same way about the first start up on mine after the motor blew up. It's a very disturbing not knowing... You want to go over and over it in your mind did i tighten this bolt completely, are all the sensors plugged in.. Like the other guy said above, you'll never know till you fire it up and something either goes bang or it doesn't. =O).. Can't wait to hear the final results!!

After your Permagrin when you hit the throttle, youre going to need to start saving up for tires as you wont be able to keep your foot out of it.

Congrats on the install. It definitely gives you a full sense of accomplishment when you DIY. I have 28k on my car after the maggie install. No problems at all.

I haven't seen it yet, but has anyone told you not to try to stop the belt or pulley from spinning with your finger? 'cause this one time, in PQ camp........

Congrats on the install. I'm jealous.

I never thought about that. I hope the pulleys are round so that he's not tempted to take a video as he turns them by hand...

Got the the office after UPS had come. :(

I hope it was US mail or Fed-Ex. I was up till 6:30 finishing end of year for the business. We don't com ein till 11am on Tues and Wed. We usually catch the UPS guy even when I come late. I normally get here at 9am anyway but my son takes the Jeep to school so I'm kinda stuck riding with Bonnie.

The last package Tim sent was US mail so hopefully it is again.

I was gonna set one up fo install. But I knew I would be doing a few hours a day on it. So I skipped it. I don't have a camera though.

I actually rolled a few pulleys across the marble counter at the office and thought about that. lmao
