So I was searching Youtube for more hill climb vids and ran across this one. If you watch at 3:29 ish he is searching for traction and has a nice recovery.
I like this race because it reminds of the days working on cars for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb http://www.usacracing.com/ppihc

Hey everyone, there is a car show up in Heber. Some of us are meeting at the Walmart in Riverton at 8am if you want to caravan up. It's not just for Camaros. Let me know if you plan on coming. Our friend Bill in Heber will rope off an area for us. Sorry for the late notice. But it seems that's how we do things lately. Last minute. Even if you don't meet at Walmart the show is from 8am - 6pm. Heber City Park.

So when your on just the east track at the miller motorsports park do they give you a lap time tracker for your car to see how fast your pushing it?

Independence Day Cruise 7/4/11

Meet at Target in Layton at 10:00 AM
815 West 2000 North
Take exit 332 for Antelope Dr/UT-108
You will want the right lane to turn onto Antelope Dr

We will be going past East Canyon and Pineview Reserviors.
Google says 2 hours and 43 Minutes.

We will stop for pictures and have lunch when we get back to Layton.

So on the timed trials do they send you out individually, and send another car every 30 seconds or whatever, like they did at firebird?

If you pay extra ($20 I think), you use their transponder which tracks your lap times throughout the day. Then at the end of the day, you get to compete against the others participating, groups of 4 cars, 30 seconds between cars, a few minutes between groups. After all cars have run then the winner is chosen.
Last time on the west track, about 9 cars participated in the time trials, and Jordan kicked all their butts!

Well lets get some mods on it first!

Start by taking the lift kit off, then get some exhaust, then a cam, then some more suspension stuff, then a blower! Simple as that!

LOL well you get me some extra money and i'll be more than happy to put some mods on it. Ha ha, I wanna get the ZL1 so i'm not going 2 dump a bunch of money into my SS yet.
