nothing..... allowing air to go up to my CAI box....

but I guess mesh would allow that too.

I saw the mesh one a sponsor on here is offering as "aftermarket" to add to your port...... looks like crap. It only fits about 1/2 way into the port.

I have seen those that put the mesh on the back outside and it's not noticeable... but I need to get the the lights if I have issues.

Unless you are up on them, you really can't tell if there is something there or not... So far... I like "nothing" there.


It does not 'vent' to the wheel, it vents to the engine compartment.

+1 yeah, I was admiring the T3 ports and then realized the driving lights were gone. Then I was trying to consider where to relocate the missing lights if I were to do this.

they have brackets you can use to put your DRLs at the back of the port if you want to.

also, some have put the lights into the bottom grill.

I didn't read the thread before commenting (I hate when that happens). I see these issue is well covered. I like the 1 1/2" DRLS. The LEDs would look perfect of the lighting color matched the halos. The LED are more blue.

very true... the LED strip option is very blue.... I'm sure if you give it about 6 months some one will figure it out...... I'm not very patient ....

Here is a pic with the T3 ports. I'll post a pic as soon as the car comes out of the paint shop of what we did to cover the ports. I'f I forget take a look at my journal next week.
