I just traded my Camaro for a very nice 6 year old Vette and think I got a heck of a deal. If you have the bucks, ok on the Grand Sport, but used would save you bunches and Corvette guys take great care of their cars.

I actually sold my '06 Z06 earlier this year after driving it for 3 years. The car ate through tires and the long commutes to work started to become uncomfortable. Another reason I sold it is because of the speculated showing of the C7 in January of next year.

I was driving a hand me down ML500 for a while but the gas efficiency was terrible and I wanted to get back into a coupe. I just purchased a Camaro SS a couple weeks ago and I really like it. It's not a vette but I like it a lot still. It's different. A lot more comfortable to drive on a daily basis.

I would wait unless you really love the C6 body style. In a year the C7 will be out and then probably the Z06 version the next year. I plan on keeping the Camaro for around 3 years and then trading it or selling it to get the C7 Z06. Hopefully by then it won't be my daily driver.
